Neo Edo · District Zero
Neo Edo was once protected by ancient clans — bloodlines that traded silk for steel and prayer for precision. Their shrines lit the harbor. Their word was law. Then the corporations came, and they did not conquer the city. They bought it.
Artificial intelligence now runs the towers, the trains, the temples. It decides who eats and who is erased. The clans are memory. The shrines are server farms. And the Oiran — the courtesan-warriors who once held the balance between the powerful and the forgotten — were hunted to the last.
You were that last one. Executed on the steps of the Hollow Shrine, then stolen from the morgue and rebuilt in a black-market lab using cybernetics that were never meant for a human spine. You woke up wrong. You woke up lethal. And you woke up remembering every face that let the city die.
Now the corporations want their weapon back, the resistance wants a symbol, and the AI that rules Neo Edo wants to understand the one thing it cannot compute: a person who chooses. Every decision you make rewrites who survives the night. There is no clean ending here. Only the one you can live with.
"They killed the woman. They should have killed the memory."
— The Oiran, Chapter One
From the flooded Shibuya Slums to the mirrored Sky District, every borough runs on its own law, its own faction, and its own price. Drag to travel the city.
Fluid, brutal blade-and-fan combat. Parry gunfire with your war-fan, dash through bullets, chain katana strikes into cybernetic finishers.
Turn invisible with Chrome Veil. Ghost past patrols or take the whole tower silently.
Wall-run, grapple and free-climb a seamless open city. Every rooftop hides a secret.
Cinematic multi-phase duels against corporate warlords and rogue AI gods. Each one rewrites a piece of the city.
Over 80 hand-authored contracts. No filler. Every one has a face and a consequence.
Forge weapons and augments from salvaged chrome at black-market benches.
Three deep paths — Blade, Ghost, Machine. Respec anytime at a ripperdoc.
Branching conversations where silence is an option — and so is the blade.
Five distinct endings. The city you leave behind is the one you built.
Every weapon has three upgrade tiers. Salvage chrome, unlock overclocks, and reforge each into a legendary variant that changes how it plays.
Tier III · LegendaryA folded-steel blade sheathed in a plasma edge. Slices reinforced armor like paper and parries incoming fire mid-swing.
Tier III · LegendaryThe Oiran's heirloom war-fan, edged with monomolecular blades. Opens to deflect bullets, closes to crush skulls.
Tier II · EpicA short sword that stores kinetic energy with every parry and releases it as a shockwave that ragdolls a room.
Tier II · EpicA throwing blade that fries cybernetics on contact. Disable an augmented enemy, then finish the human underneath.
Tier III · LegendaryA silent recurve that fires smart-arrows guided by your optic uplink. Slow time as you draw, then paint the room.
Companion · Sentient"Kuro," a salvaged AI drone that hacks turrets, flanks enemies, and talks back. Upgrade it into a lethal partner — or a friend.
Chrome is character. Slot augments into your spine, eyes, and nervous system to rewrite the rules of every encounter. Push too far and the city's AI starts to notice.
Short-range teleport dash that leaves a decoy afterimage to bait fire.
Perfect-parry window widens and refunds stamina on every deflect.
Optical camouflage. Vanish for eight seconds — longer if you stand still.
A kinetic barrier that absorbs one lethal hit, then detonates outward.
Nanite swarm regenerates health out of combat and revives you once per fight.
Bullet-time on demand. The world slows; you don't. Overheats if abused.
Quickhack turrets, cameras, and enemy chrome from across the room.
See heat through walls. Tag every guard, bounty, and hidden cache.
Air-dash twice and phase through thin cover mid-combo.
A muffling field that erases footsteps and silences takedowns nearby.
Auto-slow the instant a bullet would hit you, opening a counter window.
Bond with Kuro. It learns your style and calls out threats you can't see.
Neo Edo is carved between five factions. Your reputation with each opens paths, weapons, and endings — and closes others forever.
